Harmony Public Schools is thrilled to announce the second annual Central Texas Math Carousel 2025! We invite all 5th-grade students in Central Texas to showcase their math skills in a fun and challenging competition. This exciting event is exclusively for 5th graders, and registration is now open at HarmonyTX.org/MathCarousel.

The Math Carousel is a unique event that combines individual and team-based rounds, encouraging both personal and collaborative growth in math. Students will start with an individual competition, followed by a team round. Although participating in a team is optional for individual competitors, all teams must compete in both rounds to qualify. Teams should consist of four students each, with a maximum of 26 teams participating.

The competition will include 15 warm-up and 15 competition questions, all aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) math standards. These rounds are designed to help students develop problem-solving abilities while honing teamwork, time management, critical thinking, and communication skills.
